By emitting light in definite wavelength ranges at Dr Sknn, we go for absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin allowing us to treat Intense Pulsed Light of various sizes and at different depths while causing minimum harm to the skincare around. After the procedure, the damaged vessels are taken in by the body and hardly any hint of the initial lesion remains.

At Dr Sknn, IPL is used to apply light energy, the light is absorbed by the blood vessels, warming them to a degree that causes them to contract and/or shut down, and secure.
