Following treatment, the damaged vessels are taken in by the body, leaving little or no evidence of the initial lesion.

At Dr Sknn, IPL is used to draw upon the power of light. The light is then taken in by the blood vessels, which are heated to the point of spasming and/or collapsing, forming a seal.
