At Dr Sknn, we employ the Lynton Lumina, a state-of-the-art IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) System (IPL) which is also utilised by the NHS and private hospitals across the UK, to treat IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) efficiently and securely on skin types I-IV. By giving out light in certain wavelength ranges, this allows us at Dr Sknn to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, allowing us to accurately and safely treat IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) of diverse sizes and depths while causing least damage to the nearby skin. After the treatment, the affected vessels are absorbed by the body leaving little or no trace of the initial lesion.
