After treatment the affected vessels are absorbed by the body and usually no trace of the initial lesion remains.

At Dr Sknn, we make use of the light energy available through IPL, the heat of which is taken in by the blood vessels, resulting in spasm and/or collapse, and then sealing them. Over the following weeks, the damaged vessels are disposed of normally by the body, leaving almost no trace of the initial lesion.
