Before undergoing the procedure, a thorough consultation will be conducted, which includes a medical history review, physical examination, and photo-taking. During this time, any concerns, questions, and expectations can be discussed. We will also discuss post-treatment advice and potential risks associated with the treatment to ensure that you fully understand them. A consent form will be signed, and if it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III+, a topical application of serum may be required four weeks prior to treatment. After 48 hours post patch testing and successful results, we can proceed with the treatment. However, please note that the patch testing may be extended up to two weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
