At Dr Skn, before your Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, you will undergo a comprehensive consultation that includes a thorough medical history review, physical examination and photographs. This is your opportunity to discuss your concerns, expectations, desired results and ask any questions you may have. Your safety is paramount, and we will discuss any potential risks associated with the treatment and provide post-treatment advice. If it's a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure the suitability of the treatment. For patients with a skin type of III or above, a topical application of serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. We understand that everyone is unique, and therefore, a one-size-fits-all approach is not suitable for this type of treatment. After a successful patch test, the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment can be administered, but please be aware that patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
