We also take the time to address any concerns or questions you may have, ensuring you have a clear understanding of the potential results and risks associated with the treatment before signing a consent form. For new treatment areas, a small patch test is carried out to confirm suitability. Patients with skin type III+ may require a topical serum or product to be applied for four weeks before treatment. Our priority is always safety and eligibility, so if the patch test is successful, we can proceed with treatment after 48 hours. However, the patch test period may be extended to two weeks if certain medications are present in your medical history.
