This is the time to discuss any concerns, expectations, or questions you may have, and to receive advice and information about the treatment, including any risks associated with it. If the treatment area is new, a small patch test may be necessary to ensure that it is suitable for you. For those with skin types III+, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are top priorities at Dr Skn, and a full consultation and patch test will be conducted to ensure that the treatment is suitable for you. If successful, treatment can proceed 48 hours after patch testing. However, patch testing may be extended up to 2 weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history.
