At Dr Sknn, a consultation will be conducted before a Fractional CO2 Laser treatment to assess your medical history, physical examination, and take photographs. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, expectations, results, or ask any questions. Prior to the treatment, our team will discuss any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the procedure to ensure that you fully understand them. A consent form will be signed, and if it's a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For patients with skin type III+, a topical application of serum may be required for four weeks before treatment. We prioritize safety and eligibility for treatment at Dr Sknn, and as no one size fits all, a full consultation and patch test will be performed to assess suitability for the treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment will be delivered 48 hours after. Please note that patch testing may be extended up to two weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
