Why Choose Dr Sknn for Laser For Stretch Marks

At Dr Sknn, prior to Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a full consultation will be held to cover your medical history, physical examination and photographs. This will provide you with the opportunity to raise any queries, expectations, results or concerns that you may have. Before the procedure, any potential risks and post-treatment advice in regard to Fractional CO2 Laser treatment will be discussed in detail and a consent form will be signed to ensure that you fully understand the process. If the area is being treated for the first time, a small patch test will be completed to determine its suitability. At Dr Sknn, safety and suitability for the procedure are of the utmost importance and a comprehensive consultation will be conducted to determine if you are suitable for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. If the patch test is successful after a period of 48 hours, the treatment can go ahead. However, if certain medications are present in your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks. Additionally, if your skin type is III+, a topical product may need to be used for four weeks prior to the treatment.
