CO2 fractional ablative laser is a popular skin treatment in the UK that targets wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This type of laser treatment involves removing a fraction of the skin surface to stimulate collagen production and improve overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into micro-columns and then delivered to the affected area, making it an effective treatment for wrinkles, skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and stretch marks. Unlike other laser treatments, CO2 fractional ablative laser is non-invasive and does not require any downtime. This safe and effective procedure can be used on any part of the body and produces results within weeks that can last for months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment for the face, neck, décolleté, and body areas. Our mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. Our treatment is precise, with spacing between each laser emission resulting in faster healing. We use this specific laser to treat a range of aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. Why Choose Dr Sknn for Laser Resurfacing

When you come to Dr Skn for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, we will start with a thorough consultation that includes a medical history review, physical examination and photographs. This is an opportunity for you to raise any concerns or expectations you may have and ask any questions you need answered. Before the treatment, we will discuss the post-treatment advice and risks involved, ensuring that you fully understand them before signing a consent form. In case it's a new area being treated, we will perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III or above, we may recommend a topical application of serum for 4 weeks prior to treatment. At Dr Skn, safety and eligibility are our top priorities. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and therefore conduct a full consultation and patch test to ensure that you are a suitable candidate for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. Once the patch test is successful, we will proceed with the treatment after 48 hours. However, if certain medications are found in your medical history, the patch testing may be extended up to 2 weeks. Additionally, if your skin type is III or above, we may recommend a topical application of product for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
