CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to improve the appearance of skin irregularities, such as wrinkles and scars. This treatment works by targeting a fraction of the skin's surface, which stimulates collagen production and improves overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into thousands of tiny micro-columns, which are delivered to the affected area. This non-invasive procedure is effective in treating age spots, acne scars, stretch marks, and laxity in the skin. The CO2 fractional ablative laser is safe and effective for all skin types and can be used on any area of the body. The results of this procedure can be seen within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for the face, neck, décolleté, and body areas. This specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is used to treat a variety of aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, and sun damage. The laser emission is delivered in a methodical pattern with precise spacing between each emission, resulting in a faster healing process. This treatment ultimately improves the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis, resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of

Doctor Led Laser Resurfacing Plumley - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Laser Resurfacing

At Dr Sknn, we offer consultations for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment which includes a thorough medical history and physical examination, along with photographs. During the consultation, we encourage our patients to discuss any concerns or expectations they may have, in order to ensure that they are fully informed about the procedure. We also provide information about post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment, and obtain a signed consent form from the patient. Additionally, for new areas being treated, we perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. If the patient has a skin type of III or higher, a topical serum may be necessary for 4 weeks before treatment. Our top priority at Dr Sknn is safety and eligibility for treatment. We believe that one size does not fit all, so a full consultation and patch test is performed prior to any treatment. If the patient is suitable for treatment, we deliver the treatment after 48 hours post patch testing. It is important to note that patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during the medical history review. If a patient has a skin type of III or higher, a topical product may be necessary for 4 weeks before treatment.
