During the consultation, a thorough medical history will be taken, and a physical examination will be carried out, including photographs. You will have an opportunity to discuss your concerns, expectations, and any questions you may have. Before the treatment, any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the procedure will be discussed, and a consent form will be signed. Additionally, if it's a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III or higher, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Once found suitable for the treatment, a patch test will be performed. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours, but note that the patch test may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
