This includes a thorough medical history and physical examination, which may involve taking photographs. You will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, or questions you may have regarding the treatment. Our team will also explain the post-treatment advice and potential risks to ensure you have a full understanding before signing a consent form. If you are receiving treatment on a new area, a small patch test may be conducted to assess suitability. In cases where the patient has skin type III+, a topical serum or product may be required for four weeks before treatment. Safety and eligibility are of utmost importance to us, and therefore, a patch test will be performed prior to the treatment to ensure your suitability. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered within 48 hours. However, in certain cases where medication was found during the medical history, the patch test may be extended up to two weeks.
