During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to voice your concerns, expectations, or questions about the procedure. Prior to the treatment, any risks associated with the procedure will be discussed, and you will be advised on the appropriate post-treatment care. If it's your first time getting a particular area treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure its suitability for the procedure. For those with skin type III and above, a topical serum or product may be needed for four weeks before the treatment. At Dr Sknn, the safety and eligibility of the patient for treatment is the top priority. Hence, a full consultation will be conducted before the patch test is done. After 48 hours of the patch test, the treatment can be performed successfully. However, if certain medications are found during the medical history review, the patch testing may be extended up to two weeks.
