During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have. The team will explain any risks associated with the treatment and provide you with post-treatment advice. If you are having treatment on a new area, a small patch test will be carried out to ensure suitability. For those with skin types of III+, a topical application of serum may be required for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are top priorities at Dr Skn, and a full consultation will be carried out prior to treatment, including a patch test if deemed necessary. After a successful patch test, treatment can be delivered within 48 hours, although this may be extended to two weeks if certain medications are detected in your medical history.
