Therefore, prior to any treatment, a thorough consultation will be conducted, including a medical history and physical examination with photographs. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have. We will also discuss any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment to ensure you have a full understanding, and a consent form will be signed. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If you have skin type III+, a topical serum or product may be needed for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours, but please note that patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history.
