At Dr Skn, as part of the consultation process for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a thorough medical history will be taken, including a physical examination and photographs. You will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions you may have about the treatment, as well as your expectations and desired results. Prior to the treatment, we will discuss any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the procedure to ensure you fully understand them, and a consent form will be signed. Additionally, if it is your first time having a particular area treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For those with skin type III or higher, a topical application of serum or product may be necessary for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priorities at Dr Skn, and as such, each patient is evaluated on an individual basis to determine suitability for treatment. If deemed suitable, a patch test will be performed, and treatment will be administered 48 hours after a successful patch test. Please note that if certain medications are found during your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks.
