CO2 fractional ablative laser is a popular skin treatment that targets wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This laser treatment involves removing a fraction of the skin's surface to promote collagen production and enhance overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into micro-columns and delivered to the affected area, making it a non-invasive procedure that requires no downtime. It effectively treats wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, stretch marks, and laxity in the skin. Unlike other laser treatments, the CO2 fractional ablative laser can be used on any body part, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Results are usually visible within weeks and can last for months. At Dr Sknn, we use a specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat various aesthetic concerns, such as fine lines, dyschromia, enlarged pores, unwanted scars, sun damage, and loose skin. This laser treatment improves skin texture, pigmentation, pore minimisation, premature ageing, skin hyperplasia, and skin complexion, resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin. Our advanced Fractional CO2 Laser allows for new skin production stimulated within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect, resulting in faster healing. This treatment is suitable for all skin types.

Doctor Led Laser Skin Resurfacing Timbersbrook - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Laser Skin Resurfacing

When you visit Dr Sknn for a consultation regarding Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, your medical history, physical examination, and photographs will be taken into consideration. This consultation will also provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have. Prior to the treatment, you will be provided with post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment to ensure that you fully understand them. In addition, a consent form will be signed. If it's your first time receiving treatment on a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. Safety and eligibility to treatment is of utmost priority, therefore a full consultation and patch test will be performed to determine if the treatment is suitable for you. Successful patch testing allows us to deliver the treatment 48 hours after, but please note that the patch testing period may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications are found in your medical history. If you have a skin type of III+, a topical application of product may be needed for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
