At Dr Skn, before undergoing Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a comprehensive medical history and physical examination, including photographs, will be conducted during the consultation. This provides an opportunity for you to discuss your concerns, expectations, results, and ask any questions you may have. The risks and post-treatment advice will also be discussed to ensure you have a complete understanding, and a consent form will be signed. If it's the first time treating a particular area, a small patch test will be conducted to assess suitability. In cases where the skin type is III+, a topical serum may be required for four weeks before treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are of utmost importance at Dr Skn, and so a full consultation and patch test are performed before treatment. The patch test may be extended to two weeks if specific medications are found in your medical history. If you have skin type III+, you may also require a topical product for four weeks before treatment.
