Before the first treatment of a particular area, a patch test will be done to check suitability. If the skin type is III+, a topical serum may be needed for four weeks before the treatment. Safety and suitability are a priority at Dr Sknn and a full consultation will be conducted to ensure eligibility for the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. Should the patch test be successful after 48 hours, the treatment can be administered. If medications are found in the medical history, the patch testing period may be extended for two weeks. For skin type III+, topical product application may be necessary for four weeks before the treatment.
