For any new areas being treated, a patch test will be conducted to determine suitability. If your skin type is classed as III+, a topical serum application may be required in the four weeks prior to the laser treatment. To ensure safety and suitability, a full consultation at Dr Sknn will be held. After a successful patch test over the course of 48 hours, the procedure can go ahead. However, if specific medications have been identified in your medical history, this patch testing could be extended up to two weeks. If your skin type is deemed to be III+, a topical product application could be required for four weeks before the treatment.
