CO2 fractional ablative laser is a laser treatment used to improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. The laser targets and removes a fraction of the skin surface to stimulate collagen production, which enhances skin tone and texture. It splits the laser beam into tiny micro-columns and delivers them to the affected area. The CO2 fractional ablative laser is commonly used to treat skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, wrinkles, and other skin issues. It is also effective in improving the appearance of stretch marks and laxity in the skin. This non-invasive procedure doesn't require downtime and is a safe and effective way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and skin irregularities while improving skin tone and texture. It can be used on any body part, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Results are usually visible within a few weeks and can last for months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for face, neck, décolleté, and body areas that stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. The laser delivers precise spacing between each emission, resulting in a faster healing process. We use a mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat a range of aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions

Doctor Led Laser Skin Treatment - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Laser Skin Treatment

At Dr Sknn, we begin the treatment process with a comprehensive consultation, which includes a thorough medical history and physical examination, along with photographs to assess the targeted areas. This is the perfect opportunity to address any queries, concerns or expectations that you may have regarding the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. Our team will also provide you with post-treatment advice and discuss any risks associated with the procedure to ensure that you have a full understanding of what to expect. In the event that it's a new area being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to assess suitability. If you have skin type III+, a serum topical application may be required four weeks before treatment. We value the safety and eligibility of all our patients, and as such, no treatment is carried out until after a full consultation and patch test. Successful patch testing enables us to deliver the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment within 48 hours; however, if certain medications are present in your medical history, the patch testing may be extended up to two weeks. Similarly, if you have skin type III+, a topical product application may be needed four weeks before treatment.
