CO2 fractional ablative laser is a popular treatment used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin imperfections. This type of laser treatment works by removing a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production and improve overall skin texture and tone. The laser emits thousands of micro-columns, which are directed towards the targeted area. This treatment is effective in addressing a variety of skin concerns, such as wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, and skin discoloration, as well as stretch marks and skin laxity. The CO2 fractional ablative laser is a non-invasive procedure that does not require any downtime and is safe for all skin types. At Dr Sknn, we offer advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatments for various areas of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Our specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is used to treat a range of aesthetic concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, and sun damage. This laser treatment also improves skin surface irregularities, pore size, unwanted scars, and loose skin. By improving skin hydration and thickness, it results in a healthier, more youthful, and glowing complexion. The precise spacing between each laser emission allows for faster healing and sparing of tissue in-between. The results are visible within a few weeks and can last for several months, making this a popular and effective treatment for anyone seeking

Doctor Led Laser Skin Treatment Cheadle - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Laser Skin Treatment

At Dr Sknn, a consultation will be conducted which includes a thorough medical history and physical examination, along with photographs, before proceeding with the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, expectations, results, and any questions you may have. Our team will also provide you with post-treatment advice and discuss the risks associated with the treatment to ensure you have a full understanding. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to determine suitability. For those with skin types of III+, a topical application of serum may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. We prioritize safety and eligibility for the treatment, therefore, a patch test will be performed before the treatment. If found suitable for treatment, the procedure can be performed after 48 hours of successful patch testing. Please note, if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks. Additionally, a topical product may be needed for 4 weeks before treatment for those with skin types of III+.
