CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment commonly used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. By targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface, it stimulates collagen production, improving overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into thousands of tiny micro-columns and delivered to the affected area. This treatment is effective in treating a wide range of skin issues such as skin discoloration, acne scars, age spots, and stretch marks. Unlike other laser treatments, CO2 fractional ablative laser is a non-invasive procedure with no downtime. It is a safe and effective way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and skin irregularities while also improving skin tone and texture. This treatment can be used on any area of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms, with visible results usually seen within a few weeks that can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. The laser emission is methodically delivered in a precise spacing pattern, sparing the tissue in-between for faster healing. We use a specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat various aesthetic concerns such

Doctor Led Laser Skin Treatment Chester - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Laser Skin Treatment

At Dr Sknn, we prioritize safety and eligibility for treatment when it comes to Fractional CO2 Laser. During the consultation, a medical history and physical examination including photographs will be conducted. We provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or queries that you may have. Prior to the treatment, we discuss post-treatment advice and risks associated with the procedure to ensure that you fully comprehend them. A consent form will also be signed. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III+, a topical application of serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to the treatment. After the patch test is successful, we are able to provide the treatment following the 48-hour post-patch test period. However, please note that the patch testing may be extended up to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
