At Dr Skn, we conduct thorough consultations prior to Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, where we take a detailed medical history and perform a physical examination, including photographs. During the consultation, we encourage our clients to voice any concerns or questions they may have, as we want to ensure that they fully understand the procedure, any potential risks and the expected results. We also provide detailed post-treatment advice. If it is a new treatment area, we will perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. For clients with skin types of III+, a topical product may be required for four weeks before the treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priorities, and we will only proceed with the treatment if our clients are found to be suitable during the consultation and patch testing process. Please note that if certain medications are detected during the medical history assessment, the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks.
