CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This laser targets and removes a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production, improving overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into micro-columns and delivered to the affected area. This treatment is ideal for treating wrinkles, skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and other skin irregularities. It's also effective in improving the appearance of stretch marks and laxity in the skin. Unlike other laser treatments, the CO2 fractional ablative laser is a non-invasive procedure that requires no downtime. It's a safe and effective way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and skin irregularities while also improving skin tone and texture. This laser treatment can be used on any part of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Results can usually be seen within a few weeks and last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for the face, neck, décolleté, and body areas. This laser stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effects. The laser emissions are evenly spaced, allowing for a faster healing process. We use a mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat various aesthetic concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions

Doctor Led Laser Skin Treatment Macclesfield - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Laser Skin Treatment

At Dr Skn, we provide a thorough consultation before the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment to ensure your safety and suitability. During the consultation, our medical expert will take your medical history, conduct a physical examination, and capture photographs of the area to be treated. This is also an opportunity for you to express any concerns, ask questions, and discuss your expectations and desired results. We will discuss the post-treatment advice and potential risks associated with the treatment to ensure you have a clear understanding before signing the consent form. Additionally, we may perform a small patch test on a new area to ensure suitability. For those with skin type III+, a topical serum may be required four weeks prior to treatment. We prioritize safety and eligibility, therefore a patch test will also be performed to ensure that the treatment is suitable for you. Following a successful patch test, we can deliver the treatment after 48 hours. Please note that if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch testing may be extended to two weeks. If you have skin type III+, a topical product may be needed for four weeks prior to treatment.
