We'll also discuss post-treatment advice and potential risks, ensuring that you fully understand them before signing a consent form. If it's a new area being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. In cases where your skin type is III or higher, a topical serum may be necessary for 4 weeks before treatment. We understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to skin treatments, which is why we take the time to perform a patch test before delivering the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. After 48 hours post-patch testing, we can proceed with the treatment, although the patch test may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history.
