CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment commonly used to improve the appearance of skin irregularities such as wrinkles and scars. By removing a fraction of the surface of the skin, this laser stimulates collagen production to enhance the overall tone and texture of the skin. The laser beam is split into thousands of tiny micro-columns and delivered to the affected area, making it effective in treating skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and stretch marks. Unlike other laser treatments, the CO2 fractional ablative laser is a non-invasive procedure that requires no downtime, making it safe and efficient. It can be used on any part of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that uses mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat various aesthetic concerns. This specific laser helps improve skin thickness and hydration, resulting in a healthier, youthful appearance. Our treatment methodical even pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission allows new skin production which is stimulated within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. This spare the tissue in-between, resulting in a faster healing process. Our Fractional CO2 Laser can improve pitting of the skin, pigmentation, pore minimisation, premature ageing, skin hyperplasia, sun damaged skin, lines, wrinkles and skin complexion. The results of this procedure are visible within a few weeks and can last for several months. Our treatment is

Doctor Led Laser Skin Treatment Pott Shrigley - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Laser Skin Treatment

At Dr Skn, when you book a consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a thorough medical history will be taken, and a physical examination, including photographs, will be carried out. This is to ensure that the treatment is safe and suitable for you. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, or questions you may have, and any potential risks associated with the treatment will be explained. A consent form will also be signed before treatment commences. If it is the first time you are having a particular area treated, a small patch test may be performed to ensure that the treatment is suitable for you. If you have skin type III or above, a topical application of serum or product may be needed for four weeks prior to treatment. At Dr Skn, your safety and eligibility for treatment is our top priority, and we always take the time to ensure that each patient is treated on an individual basis. Following a successful patch test, treatment can begin 48 hours later. However, if you are taking certain medications, patch testing may be extended to two weeks.
