When you visit Dr Sknn for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a comprehensive medical history and physical examination, along with photographs, will be taken during the consultation. This is to ensure that your safety and eligibility for the treatment are the top priority. You will also have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have. Before the treatment, any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment will be discussed with you to ensure that you fully understand them. A consent form will also be signed. If it is the first time that you are having treatment in a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure that the treatment is suitable for you. In case you have skin type III or higher, you may need to apply a topical serum for four weeks before the treatment. Following successful patch testing, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours.
