This IPL system is used to treat Thread Vein on skin types I-IV in a safe and efficient manner. Through the emission of light in particular wavelength ranges, the absorption peaks of haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin are targeted. This technique enables us to treat Thread Vein of varied sizes and depths without causing excessive harm to the nearby skin. After the treatment, the affected vessels are reabsorbed by the body, leaving no trace of the initial lesion.

Through use of IPL at Dr Sknn, we transmit light energy which is then taken in by the blood vessels, heating them up to the point of contraction and/or closure, thus sealing them. In the coming weeks, the ruined vessels are taken in by the body, leaving no sign of the initial lesion.
