By emitting light in certain wavelength ranges, the Dr Sknn team can target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, thereby allowing for the treatment of lesions of different sizes and depths without much damage to the surrounding skin. Upon completion of treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body, leaving very little indication of the original lesion.
