At Dr Sknn, when you come in for a consultation regarding Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a thorough medical history and physical examination will be conducted, which may include photographs. This is an opportunity to discuss any concerns or expectations you may have about the treatment, as well as ask any questions you may have. Additionally, our team will inform you about any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the procedure, and ensure that you fully understand them before signing a consent form. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test may be required to ensure that the treatment is suitable for you. For those with a skin type of III+, a topical serum may need to be applied for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are top priorities at Dr Sknn, and we do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Therefore, a full consultation will be performed prior to any treatment, and if deemed suitable, a patch test will be conducted.
