When you visit Dr Sknn for a Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, the consultation will begin with a comprehensive medical history and physical examination, which may include photographs. You will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, expectations, results and any questions you may have. Before the treatment, the post-treatment advice and associated risks will be explained to you in detail, and you will be required to sign a consent form. If it is the first time you are having the treatment in a new area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III or above, a topical serum may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are the top priority at Dr Sknn, and a full consultation will be performed to determine suitability.
