At Dr Skn, a comprehensive medical history, including a physical examination and photographs, will be taken during the consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. This allows for the discussion of any concerns, expectations, and potential results, as well as any questions you may have. Before treatment, the post-treatment advice and risks associated with the procedure will be thoroughly explained to ensure you have a full understanding. Additionally, a consent form must be signed before proceeding. If it is your first time receiving treatment in a new area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure the suitability of the treatment. For those with skin types of III+, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are our highest priorities, and we take great care in ensuring each patient is a suitable candidate for the treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment will be delivered after 48 hours.
