This is also used by the NHS and private hospitals all over the UK to treat Neck Redness on skin types I-IV without causing any harm to the nearby skin. By sending out light in a certain wavelength, it targets absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, thus allowing us to treat lesions of varying sizes and depths. Following the treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body, leaving no trace of the initial lesion.

IPL is utilised by Dr Sknn for the purpose of taking advantage of light energy, which is absorbed by the Neck Redness and heated to a point that causes them to spasm and/or collapse, thus forming a seal. In the aftermath, the damaged vessels are naturally assimilated by the body with hardly any evidence of the beginning lesion.
