This IPL emits light at a particular wavelength range which targets absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, allowing us to treat Port Wine Stain Birthmarks at different sizes and depths while causing minimal damage to the neighbouring skin. Subsequent to treatment, the broken vessels are taken up by the body and not much evidence of the initial lesion is left.

Over the coming weeks, the damaged vessels are naturally taken in by the body, leaving barely any indication of the initial lesion.
