By emitting light at a certain wavelength range, our team at Dr Sknn are able to target the absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, thereby allowing us to administer treatments of various sizes and depths of Port Wine Stain Birthmarks, while causing minimal harm to the skin in the vicinity. Following the treatment, the damaged vessels are taken in by the body, leaving little or no trace of the initial lesion.
