The light emitted from the Lumina is in a certain wavelength range, which allows us to target the absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin. This allows us to treat Port Wine Stain of different sizes and depths with minimal harm to the surrounding skin. After treatment, the affected vessels are taken in by the body and the initial lesion is virtually undetectable.
