By emitting light in a particular wavelength range, we can target the absorption peaks of haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin. This allows us to treat Port Wine Stain of different sizes and depths while causing minimal damage to the surrounding skin. After the treatment, the affected vessels are taken in by the body and there is little or no trace of the initial lesion remaining.
