By giving out light in a particular wavelength ranges, we are able to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxyhaemoglobin, allowing us to treat Port Wine Stain at different sizes and at different depths, while causing minimal damage to the neighbouring skin. Following treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body, with no or barely any evidence of the initial lesion remaining.
