By emitting light in a precise wavelength range, Dr Sknn focus on absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, allowing us to address lesions of different sizes and at different depths, all with minimal impact on the encompassing skin. Post-treatment, the affected vessels are assimilated by the body, with little or no trace of the original lesion lingering.

By utilising IPL at Dr Sknn, light energy is utilised which is then taken up by the Port Wine Staining, this causes them to become heated to the degree that they contract and/or shut down, blocking them.
