By beaming light in specific wavelength ranges, we are able to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, thereby enabling us to treat Port Wine Staining of different sizes and depths while causing minimal damage to the neighbouring skin. Following treatment, the injured vessels are taken in by the body and no indication of the initial lesion is left behind.
