By radiating light at certain wavelength ranges, we are able to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, thus enabling us to treat Port Wine Staining of diverse sizes and depths without causing significant harm to the surrounding skin. Once the procedure is complete, the damaged vessels are reabsorbed by the body, leaving little to no trace of the initial lesion.
