Subsequent to treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body, leaving very little or no indication of the initial lesion.

Dr Sknn works with IPL to bring light energy into play, the light being taken in by the Portwine Stain which are then warmed to a level causing them to go into spasm and/or shut down. Afterwards, the ruined vessels are naturally taken in by the body, leaving almost no reminder of the original blemish.
