At Dr Sknn we employ the Lynton Lumina, a state-of-the-art Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL) employed by the NHS and private hospitals across the UK, to treat Red Chest safely and effectively on skin types I-IV. By using light at a particular wavelength range we are able to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, permitting us to treat Red Chest at various sizes and depths while causing minimal damage to the nearby skin. Following the treatment the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body, leaving no trace of the initial lesion.

At Dr Sknn, by using IPL, we draw power from light. This light is then taken up by the Red Chest, heating them so much that they either contract or collapse and are sealed. In the following weeks the harmed vessels are taken up by the body's natural processes, leaving almost no indication of the initial lesion.
