At Dr Sknn we make use of the Lynton Lumina, a state-of-the-art Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL) that is employed by the NHS and private hospitals across the UK, to safely and effectively treat Red Chest on skin types I-IV. By projecting light at a precise wavelength range we are able to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, enabling us to treat Red Chest at different sizes and depths while causing minimal damage to the surrounding skin. Upon completion of the treatment, the affected vessels are absorbed by the body and little or no trace of the initial lesion remains.

At Dr Sknn, we exploit IPL to utilise light energy, the brightness being absorbed by the Red Chest which are then warmed to the degree that they contract and/or collapse, and close. Over the succeeding weeks, the affected vessels are gradually taken in by the body, so that scarcely any indication of the original mark remains.
