At Dr Sknn we employ the Lynton Lumina which is a modern Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL) used by the NHS and private hospitals across the UK, to treat Rosacea Skin Condition safely and efficiently on skin types I-IV. By releasing light at certain wavelength ranges we are able to pinpoint absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, giving us the ability to treat Rosacea Skin Condition of different sizes and depths while causing only minimal damage to the adjacent skin. After the procedure, the damaged vessels are taken in by the body and very little or no evidence of the initial lesion remains.

At Dr Sknn, we use IPL to utilise light energy, making the Rosacea Skin Condition take in the light and becoming hot to a point of going into spasm or shutting down, and forming a seal. In the weeks that follow, the broken vessels are absorbed by the body, with no or little reminder of the initial mark.
