At Dr Sknn we utilise the Lynton Lumina, a state-of-the-art Rosacea Nose System (IPL) which is regularly employed by NHS facilities and private hospitals across the UK, to treat Rosacea Nose with safety and efficiency on skin types I-IV. By emitting light at specific wavelengths, we target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, thereby enabling us to treat Rosacea Nose at various depths and sizes without causing significant harm to the surrounding skin. Following treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body, with little to no trace of the initial lesion being left.

At Dr Sknn, we take advantage of IPL to benefit from light energy. The light is then absorbed by the blood vessels, which are then warmed to a degree that they contract and/or collapse and seal. In the weeks following, the broken vessels are absorbed naturally by the body, thus leaving virtually no evidence of the original lesion.
