At Dr Sknn we take advantage of the Lynton Lumina, a sophisticated Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL) that is used by the NHS and private clinics throughout the UK to treat Rosacea Skin Condition in a secure and efficacious manner on skin types I-IV. By projecting light in certain wavelength ranges, we at Dr Sknn are able to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, which allows us to treat Rosacea Skin Condition of different sizes and depths without causing any damage to the surrounding skin. Upon completion of the treatment, the damaged vessels are naturally processed by the body, leaving little to no trace of the original lesion.

At Dr Sknn, IPL is used to make the most of light energy, which is absorbed by the Rosacea Skin Condition, heating them to a point of contraction and/or collapse, sealing them off. Over the ensuing weeks, the impaired vessels are naturally broken down by the body, leaving very little evidence of the original lesion.

At Dr Sknn, during the evaluation a medical past including a physical assessment will be conducted including photos. During the session there is an occasion to examine any anxieties, expectations, results, or queries you may have.
